Next Project Management Institute Student Chapter Meeting at Northwest Florida State College will be this Thursday Oct. 20th at 4:00pm in Room #117 Bldg, #360.  We are seeking new members and everyone is welcome!

Midterm Time

Midterm week blues!  Do you have them?  It's been a full week that's for sure.  Late night assignments and studying for midterm exams can give you a midterm hangover.  Let's look on the bright side now we are just about over the hump.   As the semesters go by we come one step closer to graduation.  What degree program are you in and when do you graduate?

NWF- PMI Student Chapter

Northwest Florida State College now has a PMI Student Chapter.  The group is trying to grow its membership and if your interested in joining us, please leave me a comment and I will be happy to tell you about our next meeting.  The group offers opportunities for networking with professionals in the field, community service events, guest speakers and much more, not to mention membership looks great on your resume.

Project Management Institute

The Project Management Institute is the professional organization through which certifications can be earned in the area of Project Management. PMI works to advance careers, improve organizational success and further mature the profession of project management through their globally recognized standards, certifications, resources, tools, academic research, publications, professional development courses and networking opportunities.  PMI was founded in 1969 and serves over 2.9 million professionals working in nearly every country in the world.  The website for PMI is http://www.pmi.org/   the local Emerald Coast Chapter has groups in Ft. Hello!  My name is Cindy, I'm currently a student pursuing my degree in Project Management.  My education has been a long drawn out process.  I started taking classes back in the early 90's and just returned to college again in 2014.  I'm currently a senior and looking forward to graduation and new employment in the field of Project Management.
